Missile Command is a classic arcade game developed and published by Atari in 1980. Set against the backdrop of Cold War tensions, the game places the player in control of three missile defense bases tasked with protecting six cities from an onslaught of incoming ballistic missiles, satellites, and enemy aircraft.

The objective is to intercept and destroy these threats using limited counter-missiles before they reach and destroy the cities. As the levels progress, the attacks become faster and more complex, requiring quick reflexes and strategic thinking.
