Who doesn’t remember Ghostbusters, the iconic film released in 1984?
And who could forget the Ecto-1 — the legendary 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Ambulance, a stunning blend of an ambulance and a hearse, customized in true “professional” style for the era!
I still remember that movie and that car that drove me crazy — racing through the streets of New York City to capture ghosts. And of course, there was also the computer game version! Back then, it came out for the famous Commodore, and later for the Atari 2600, Apple II, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, MSX, NES, and more.
It didn’t take much to have fun — just a few pixels and colors, but the result was pure magic and endless entertainment! I still remember the city map showing the locations where you could hunt ghosts and “cleanse” the buildings.
The Lucca Comics is starting soon — it would be amazing to dress up as a Ghostbuster!
