Here we are again. We’re DarkNoiSe and MaybeGrifis, sitting at a table placed there for no real reason, under a light that forgives no one. We’ve done new things—at least things that feel new to us in the great desert of the internet.

We changed the menu. We made it more usable, more navigable, less hostile to human life. We decided that PC and console could stop pretending to hate each other and end up under a single generic category, cold and bureaucratic: Platforms. A word that sounds like an abandoned orbital station, but it works.

For the umpteenth time—and here time loses all meaning—we rebuilt a property on Google Search Console. Again. Like someone rebuilding the same house knowing full well the wind will come back.

It’s been over ten years that we’ve been doing stupid shit on the web. Ten years of attempts, mistakes, reloads, and silent curses. And for over ten years we’ve been annoying Google. Always. Consistently. Religiously.

In our minds there’s a chronically underpaid Google employee, sealed inside a basement stairwell filled with servers spinning like deranged planets. At some point in his life he looks up from his screen and says:
Here they are again. Those assholes. Back to breaking our balls.

As of today, the menu is still broken. As usual. We’re working on it. Just like we’re still working to improve the quality and quantity of available data, digging through code with bare hands like exhausted miners on a dead planet.

And that’s it. We try.
Against the spinning servers, against blind algorithms, against common sense.
With a wooden lance, a cracked helmet, and the vague feeling that maybe, this time, something will hold.
