Autumn: The Beauty of New Games!

Autumn and the falling leaves carry with them a unique kind of magic — the herald of new games. I’ve always waited eagerly for this season: days with the perfect temperature, the beauty of autumn colors, and the trees slowly shedding their leaves on my bike ride home, as if whispering, “The cold is coming! Go home and play the new games that are about to be released!”

Aside from this crazy glimpse into my teenage life, it’s a time that has always filled me with happiness — especially because it reminds me of the charm of Dungeons & Dragons games!
Today, I want to talk about some of those old masterpieces, starting with Shadow over Mystara. This one is a true gem — giant monsters, branching paths, and a wonderful side-scrolling beat ’em up experience.

Next comes Eye of the Beholder II: The Legend of Darkmoon, a strategic simulation filled with complex puzzles. A magnificent adventure set in the vast Temple of Darkmoon.

Then there’s Neverwinter Nights, perfect for Dungeon Masters, featuring great multiplayer modes and the ability to create your own custom campaigns!

And finally (for today), Pool of Radiance — with its almost amateurish graphics and modest mechanics, yet an amazing atmosphere and all the classic enemies to face.

So, the next time you watch the leaves fall to the ground, remember — they’re like the fruits of new games waiting to be gathered.
After this bit of nostalgic madness, I wish you all a wonderful Old Game day!
