Summer’s moving along, and while everyone’s out there soaking up the sun (or desperately searching for a patch of shade), we’re still here, digging through the past to bring you 3000 freshly imported coin-up games. Because, let’s be honest, who has time for the beach when you can dive into an army of pixels and nostalgia?
Meanwhile, MaybeGrifis is keeping the TikTok channel alive with videos that are less “captivating” and more likely to trigger some sort of psychological disorder. But hey, if you’re into vintage and enjoy those creepy arcade vibes, you’ll find him there (link’s here, no need for more details, right?).
But now, the real challenge: DOS’s historic games. As I mentioned in a previous update, we can’t really call ourselves a serious RetroGaming site without those titles that defined a generation (and still haunt us with their difficulty). If you don’t find Day of the Tentacle or Duke Nukem 3D in our database, well… maybe you’re looking at the wrong site. And no, these aren’t “just games”, they’re landmarks. So get ready: DOS is coming back.
Oh, and let’s not forget the tech side of things. Not sure if anyone’s noticed, but there’s a minor issue with the server services in the quiz mini-game. Not that anyone actually plays it, but hey, it’s nice to know we’re at least trying to do something. And, like any true developer, I’m attempting to debug the app, between cups of coffee and the occasional existential crisis.
