Sensible Soccer was one of the first football games I ever played on my old Commodore 128.
I wasn’t even a big fan of football games, but the gameplay was just too much fun. You could pick from tons of teams, and the matches against my brother — with that iconic top-down view — were pure joy!
Back then, graphics didn’t overshadow gameplay. Those were the days when developers, with real passion and effort, managed to bring games like Sensible to so many platforms — Commodore, Amiga, Atari, and more, whether powerful or not.
And above all… those were the days when social media didn’t spoil the magic of discovering a game for yourself.
